Muletown Jazz Collective

 The Muletown Jazz Collective is a robust blend of classic and contemporary jazz. Its' mellow tone is easy on the ears, with zest of the blues that will leave a refreshing zing on your musical pallet. Best paired with laughter and good-times. 

Who We Are

PERCUSSION

VINCENT DEE

Vincent Dee has toured with many artists including Brenda Lee, Mel Tillis, The Forester Sisters, Ray Anthony Big Band and The Ink Spots. In his career, he has earned endorsements with Ludwig Drums, Sabian Cymbals, Aquarian Drumheads and Rimriser.  He is featured in the "Sticks 'n' Skins" Drumbook.


BASS

MK BURT

MK Burt is a native of Columbia, Tennessee.  A classically trained musician, MK has played with a plethora of musicians in the Nashville area.


In addition to MJC, she plays bass with the Columbia-based big band Merchants of COOL, as well as with her husband and daughter in their 3-piece classic rock/blues band Stevierock & The Family Band.


MK currently resides with her husband (Stevie) and daughter (Dorothy) in Thompson's Station, Tennessee.

BILL McCORD

Bill McCord is a Kentucky native, and has played the trombone for over 30-years.  


A graduate of the University of Louisville, he has performed with renown jazz artists John La Barbera, Dr. Benny Golson, Stanley Turrentine, Bob Mintzer, Don Braden, and Terrance Blanchard.


Bill currently performs with the Columbia-based big band Merchants of COOL, studies jazz composition and arranging, and teaches privately.  


He resides with his wife (Heather), and two sons (Quinn and Sam), in Columbia, Tennessee.
